The organisation of The French Hangliding Championship is given by the National Airsport Control Organisation named Fédération Française de Vol Libre (FFVL) to Delta-Club du Livradois-Forez and Libres Ailes des Volcans. This event is reserved to French competitors.

The competition named Open de France JOB 2005 is a cat2 FAI event and is opened to foreign pilots Only Class 1 and class 5 hang gliders are concerned.

Races will start from Chouvé Mountain, near Ambert, and from Puy de Dôme Mountain near Clermont-Ferrand in Center of France. The event will lasts from July 16th to 23th, 2005.
